When you register, your tuition cost automatically includes a student health and dental plan. This plan includes – but is not limited to – partial coverage of prescriptions, dental, vision, extended health services (such as physical therapy, speech therapy), travel coverage, and student wellness programs. We highly recommend visiting this page HERE to learn more about services covered.

If you wish to opt out of this health plan, make sure to do so within the first month of school. For opt-out information, see the SA website HERE, or view a ‘how-to’ video HERE (scroll to near the end of the page). Note that once you have opted out, coverage will effectively be ‘turned off’ for as long as you remain a GBC student. If your alternative insurance expires within that time, you must contact the SA office within 31 days of the end of the coverage to be re-enrolled in the SA Health and Dental plan.
